Call for Proposals by the Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade Open Call: Strengthening EU integration in Serbia and Montenegro

Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade launches the Call for Proposals within the bilateral cooperation programme to the Republic of Serbia. For this and future calls the Norwegian Embassy shall have the overall responsibility for the planning, implementation,  and monitoring of the Cooperation,  carry out appraisal of proposals and provide information to potential beneficiaries regarding the preparation of projects, make final approval of the project support and sign the Agreements with each project partner.

Thirteen projects involving institutions from Serbia have been approved within the framework of the Interreg transnational ADRION programme

The Second Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region was held in Ioannina, Greece on 11th May with the participation of senior officials of all the countries participating in the initiative - Greece, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Slovenia and Croatia. As part of this event, a Supervisory Board meeting of the Interreg transnational ADRION programme for the Adriatic and Ionian Region was organised, during which 13 projects involving institutions from Serbia had been approved.

Europe Day celebrated this year in Belgrade and Zrenjanin

This year, the European Integration Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia celebrated 9 May, Europe Day, by organising numerous activities in Belgrade and Zrenjanin. Today, at the public class dedicated to the European Union, held at the initiative of SEIO, the students of the Traffic Technical High School from Zemun have presented what they know about Europe, its history, culture, traditions, have participated in knowledge quiz and won theatre tickets, school supplies, tickets for interactive board games and other appropriate gifts.

Minister without portfolio responsible for European integration Jadranka Joksimovic has said today that the non-paper document, which has been distributed to the ambassadors of the EU member states, does not contain any demands, but Serbia’s positions and expectations as regards the development of the situation in the region.
